Samah is a strategist, expert in business planning, IT governance, change management, service improvement, and innovation.
Samah obtained her master’s degree in Public Management from Aix Marseilles University. She tackled the role of public polices fostering innovation within the financial sector, emphasizing the need for innovation ecosystem and public private partnership that connects and support inventors, enhance international openness, and establishes networks with international research cooperation.
Samah is also certified from École nationale d’administration (ENA), the French National School of Administration. She is a member of MENAPAR which aims to establish a network of researchers in public administration in the MENA region.
As part of her related research in public management, she discussed theoretical models in the field of Knowledge based Economy, Innovation and Fintech calling for a new mindset of government action and rethinking government capabilities.
Samah hold a B.SC in Computer Engineering from University of Bahrain. She wears many hats in her career; engineer, analyst, strategist and researcher. She is CCNA, CCNP, ITIL Expert, COBIT5 certified. Samah is currently leading the digital services for VIVA Bahrain. Prior to this role, Samah held the role of Strategic Business Improvement Manager in American Express Middle East. In addition to this, Samah is a cellist.
